The Problem

ROWDY, a Cape Town leather-goods brand, needed a full e-commerce presence and customer acquisition for the Norwegian market — sites, campaigns, and the operations behind them.

What I Built

Built and maintained nearly all of the brand's websites on Shopify (storefront, campaign and landing pages) and drove its digital marketing: paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads, from creative to targeting to budget. Ran the exclusive Norwegian distribution.

What it was

ROWDY Bags was the Norwegian arm of a Cape Town leather-goods brand. I built and ran its entire digital presence: Shopify storefronts, campaign landing pages, and the paid-acquisition engine across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads — while also operating the exclusive Norwegian distribution.

How it worked

The stack was Shopify with custom Liquid templates for the storefront and campaign pages. Acquisition ran as seasonal paid campaigns: creative production, audience targeting, and budget management across Meta and Google, with landing pages built per campaign to keep message match tight.

What it taught me

This was my first end-to-end commercial web work (2017–2018): the discipline of shipping pages that had to convert real ad spend, and the habit of owning a product across build, marketing, and operations — a pattern every later project repeats.

Outcomes

  • Full Shopify e-commerce presence for the Norwegian market
  • Multi-channel paid acquisition across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads
  • End-to-end ownership: web build, campaigns, and distribution operations
